Philosophy
At Guru Nanak Childcare, we will provide a warm, safe, inclusive and nurturing environment where every child will be encouraged to explore, imagine and grow with confidence. We will nurture each child’s strengths through play-based learning, cultural values, and compassionate care, inspiring curiosity, building confidence, and fostering respectful relationships.
Health & Safety
Illness Policy:
Children must stay home if they have fever, diarrhea, vomiting, or any other contagious illness. They may return after 24 hours symptom-free or with a doctor’s note.
Cleanliness and Hygiene
Classrooms, toys, and learning materials are cleaned and sanitized daily. High-touch areas will be cleaned multiple times throughout the day. Hand washing is practiced regularly throughout the day.
Security & Drop-off:

Our qualified educators sign children in and out daily. Only authorized adults are allowed to pick up children, ensuring a safe and secure environment.
Emergency Preparedness:

Staff are trained in first aid, CPR, and emergency drills (Fire, earthquake). Emergency plans are reviewed regularly.
